Tim Jackson

About Tim Jackson: Tim Jackson is an inspiring and empowering author, poet, spoken word artist, stage performer
and creator of Soul Redemption Ink, an innovative publishing company that supports talented poets, writers and
spoken word artists. Born and raised in Plymouth, NC, Tim attended Winston Salem State University. He is a
strong believer in spreading joy, strength, faith, love and righteousness through written and spoken word. Tim has
produced three stage plays; performed as the lead actor in Campaign4Change; and was resident poet for the DuBois
Center in Raleigh, NC. Tim has also been a host on Shairi’s Poetry Radio Show (WXDU) and has been featured
and performed at various poetry venues including the National Theatre Festival’s Midnight Poetry Jam hosted by
Malcolm Jamal Warner and Helena D. Lewis. Tim has also been a guest speaker for many youth, cultural,
educational and church events.
